rude receptionist unclean pool
i can't say i was thrilled with diego at reception. he had a knack for being rude during each encounter. also, rooms numbered 01 or 02 include a needless extra door. it was difficult moving luggage through it and any neighbor activity created noise. the small swimming pool looked rather unclean, i would say even dirty.

the location was really central i could walk to many places easily the staff at the reception were helpful with directions the room was clean and had basic amenities i found everything i needed for a short stay
the room size was smaller than i expected it felt a bit cramped especially with luggage the bathroom layout was a bit unusual there wasn't much privacy as the door was frosted glass the noise from the street was noticeable even on a higher floor

great location rooftop pool
The hotel is on Gran Via street. It is close to most sights. I enjoyed the rooftop very much.
The hotel did have odd layout. I encountered a guard in ground floor lobby. He used a key to start the elevator. The reception is on the top floor. This caused traffic jams because there were slow elevators.

Staff provided very helpful assistance. They accommodated all requests quickly. Reception personel were friendly and efficient. Their good attitude made checking in simple.

a mixed experience
strange layout frosted glass
the room layout was not ideal (i guess someone thought it was a good idea). there was minimal space around the bed. also, the lack of a proper bathroom door was a bit strange, as the door to the toilet was frosted glass and did not fully close. i could practically see into the shower from the toilet, talk about awkward!

really good courtesy helpful rooftop clean rooms perfect location
andrea at reception, elena during breakfast, and diego at the reception desk all provided really good courtesy. all the rooftop staff members were helpful. the rooms were very clean, i must say, and the location was perfect for exploring.
the swimming pool is definitely more suited for children than adults. it's more of a kids' size pool, to be honest.

the location was super central, everything felt close. the rooms were pretty clean and modern. i enjoyed the rooftop terrace, it has great views of the city at sunset. the staff were helpful always.
the layout felt impersonal, as it seemed the hotel was converted. the rooms are reasonably quiet. however, the room felt a bit small for me.
